How to survive adventure

Adventure is different...   I'm gonna use this page to teach you how to survive.  As a 8th grader, I survived by keeping my head down.  If you don't annoy the teacher or make a big deal of yourself you can survive easy.  Keeping your head down doesn't mean you can't hang with friends, it means don't make a big deal of yourself.  Also, you must turn everything in on time.  If you don't understand something don't be afraid to ask for help.  They are really helpful you just need to ask.  Another thing to do is always try to get the best score possible.  Finally, be sure to get high scores on grades that will begin the next grading period.  I have been in so many situations where i started off a grading period with a D-  Trust me it is not fun at all.  For any grade you can regrade, do it.  If you wait too long your opportunity will go out the window.

If I had the chance to do something differently, I would focus a lot more on my grades.  I would turn everything in on time and would regrade anything I could for the best grade.  Lots of times I was just to lazy to do any of those things and I severely regret it. I wish that I did get good grades every time.  The biggest reason for this is being there for honer night but being alone in line while all my friends are in highest honors but i'm stuck on principals list.

The easiest part of this year would have to be the beginning.  The beginning of the year is mostly review.  So, if you payed attention the previous year and did some work in the summer, you should be perfectly fine.  Another easy part of this year for me was a certain part of the year in L.A.  I had already read the book that we were studying in L.A.  I also had lots of background knowledge about the time period and everything that was going on back then.

The hardest part of this year for me had to have been keeping my grades up in all of my classes.  I had lots of things to juggle this year including more and more after school activities.  So, I personally think that was the hardest part.  Besides that, this entire school year has been pretty easy for me. I was able to help out friends with things they couldn't understand.

I think that my teachers could have handled grades better.  There was one case where the teacher said that we didn't have blogs that week because of testing.  Then, the following week, I had a low grade in that class because I got a zero for the blog.
